New Here?

Whether it is your first time ever visiting a church or you are new to our church, you will find the same warm welcome. Since 2001, Grace Baptist Church has been a lighthouse in this community, sharing Christ’s love and message of hope to all. We are confident that you will find our church to be a place like that too! At Grace Baptist Church, people find hope and encouragement, discover God’s purpose for their lives in our uplifting weekly services and have opportunities to serve God and others. We invite you to join us!

How can I find Grace Baptist?

Our church is located at the corner of Park and Albury Streets in Pimlico. The street address is 36 Albury Street. We are two streets behind the Mater Hospital in Pimlico. You can find a detailed map here on our website. We are easy to find!

When are the services?

For those able to make it, Sunday school classes for all ages begins at 9am. The Sunday morning services begin at 10:00am in the main auditorium. During the last song and right before the sermon, children grades 4 and below (attendance is optional) go to children’s church for a service prepared especially for their needs and level of understanding. Crèche is available as well. The 10am service is followed by a short morning tea/fellowship time.

The Sunday evening service is at 5:30pm and is a highlight for many. Always encouraging and challenging, it is a weekly appointment you’ll not want to miss!

The Tuesday evening meeting starts at 7:00pm and is also held in the main auditorium. This is a refreshing time of Bible study and prayer.

What are the services like?

Although there are many things that are wrong in this world, we believe that our God is alive and well. He is a living Saviour, and we worship Him with an attitude of victory and thankfulness! We generally begin the service with the congregation singing a hymn. This is followed by a prayer, Bible reading, more hymns and the occasional special music.

Prayer is a major part of the services at Grace. We believe that God works mightily through prayer. We often have times of prayer and give opportunity to share prayer requests for the congregation to help pray about.

God’s Word is the answer to every problem we face. We believe that the Bible preaching is the most important part of every service. God’s Word has the power to comfort, correct, instruct, and fix any situation. Our pastor shares a thirty to forty-five minute message, often accompanied by a power point presentation, with that message being both honest with the Scriptures and relevant to everyday living.

Be our guest this Sunday!
